Paddle & Pints on the Wenatchee
Enjoy big wave action on Washington’s most popular whitewater river near Leavenworth, combined with beer tasting, dinner, and overnight camping accommodations! So how does Wenatchee river rafting and beer sound to you? We thought so — we love it too!
We begin our Washington whitewater rafting near Leavenworth at 9 a.m. on the gorgeous Wenatchee River. After hitting some of the biggest waves in the state of Washington, we conclude the rafting end of things at our base camp on the banks of the Wenatchee River at the Wenatchee River Basecamp. For the next 3 hours, we chauffeur you around on a tour of the best breweries Central Washington has to offer.
Enjoy your favorite styles of beer as you’re guided on a beer expedition. With plenty of refreshing beverages to choose from, it will be difficult to decide on a pint to purchase at each stop. Found the one you love? Don’t forget to bring a growler (or purchase one from the brewery) to bring home or at least back to the campsite with you. When we arrive back at our Wenatchee river rafting basecamp, we complete the evening with dinner and overnight camping. You are free to sleep in and enjoy the pure, clean air of the Wenatchee Valley. Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot provide or pay for any alcohol at any time for customers.
If hotel/motel “camping” is more your style, we can suggest a great local place to stay.

We include a wetsuit, booties, a PFD for everyone, as well as a guide in each boat, all safety gear, and round-trip shuttle service to your car. This package also includes dinner at our basecamp following the beer or wine tour as well as overnight camping accommodations. Due to a recent insurance policy change, we are no longer able to purchase wine, beer, or any other type of alcohol for our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Expect to get wet! River Recreation rafts rain or shine. River Recreation is happy to offer you our comfortable and spacious picnic area with plenty of umbrella-covered tables to enjoy your self-packed picnic-style lunch either before or after the rafting excursion. Please do not bring keys, phones, or anything you cannot lose with you on the river. We will have a secure place to leave your car keys.

Bring suntan lotion, a swimsuit, a bottle of water to drink, some cash, an extra fleece top if it is cold, a change of clothes, and you can leave a towel in your car for after the trip. If you plan on joining us for camping at the basecamp that evening (which we strongly encourage after an afternoon of drinking), please plan and pack your camping gear such as a tent, sleeping bags, pillows, etc.
