Nooksack River
- Route:
Douglas Fir to Maple Falls - Best Time:
July through August - River Classification:
Class III-IV

The Nooksack begins its trek to Puget Sound high on the slopes of Mt. Shuksan and the surrounding North Cascades. On a clear day, these peaks, including Mt. Baker, form an incredible backdrop to this spunky river.
The rapids on the Nooksack begin immediately as the river attempts to negotiate a narrow, twisting and steep gorge choked with huge boulders. Eventually, the gorge gives way to a wider valley which allows you to see the breathtaking beauty of the North Cascades.Permission to raft the Nooksack River is granted by the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
Guides, instruction, rafts, equipment, wetsuits, shuttle transportation, and, of course, our famous riverside lunch buffet (Currently testing out lunch options) are all included. Let us know if there is anything special you'd like and we'll try to accommodate you.
