Green River Gorge*

The Green River has carved one of the most magnificent gorges in the entire state, only a short distance from Seattle. The dense vegetation growing along the walls of the Gorge create a feeling of the tropics and many locals refer to the Gorge as a "hanging garden."

But if whitewater is what you want, the Green River Gorge is one of the best with twenty-seven Class III rapids and four Class IV rapids. The trip starts out with exhilaration as the Class IV rapid "Ledge Drop #1" awaits us at the first bend. The highlight of the trip comes when you encounter "Mercury," "The Nozzle," and "Seeing God" back to back.

For their safety, children must be at least 16 for the Green River Gorge.

Guides, instruction, rafts, equipment, wetsuits, shuttle transportation, and, of course, our famous riverside lunch buffet (Currently testing out lunch options) are all included. Let us know if there is anything special you'd like and we'll try to accommodate you.
