Some Notes:
Drive north on I-5 to Bellingham
Take exit #255 off I-5, onto hwy 542 (also called the Mt. Baker Hwy) east
Look on your right side as you come into the town of Maple falls for the Shell station, and take the next street to your right.
Proceed around to the back and park behind the gas station in the large grassy field (towards the back)
The Shell station has hot coffee, espresso, and a full service deli with a wide selection of items.
You should allow 2.5 hours of travel time from Seattle
You may want to visit nearby Nooksack Falls after your trip as it is a popular attraction in the Mt. Baker National Forest.
