White Salmon River
Current Water & Weather Conditions

divider

The Weather on the White Salmon tends to be warmer and a little dryer – usually. We have seen some rain; however you’re most likely to see the sun. Make sure you bring your sun tan lotion, some water, and maybe an extra fleece. Remember we raft down in a canyon on the White Salmon, and even if it’s sunny, it can be a little chilly in the canyon.

500-1,000 CFS - Low Flows
At lower flows the White Salmon does something very interesting; a smaller canyon forms inside the canyon itself. This is a great level for smaller children and people with no rafting experience.

1,000-2,000 CFS - Medium Flows
More push is the first thing you will notice at these levels. Everything is bigger and meatier now. Large crashing hydraulic waves over rock shelves are seemingly around every corner.

2,000-4,000 CFS - Large Flows
Hold on to your paddle and make sure your life jacket is cinched up tight, because this is the ride you have been waiting for. Don’t blink!
