Nooksack River
Current Water & Weather Conditions

The Nooksack is both scenic and action packed. The season on the Nooksack is fairly limited due to the native population of salmon spawning in the river. Our season spans form the first of July till mid August. The Nooksack is unique due to high content of sediment from area glaciers that supply most of the river’s water.
1000-1500 CFS - Lower Levels
Good for inexperienced boaters and those not looking to get too wet.
1500-2500 CFS - Medium Levels
More of a wave-rolling ride and a swifter current at these levels. The
trip will have more whitewater in the top half and you will be ready
for a break when the canyon opens up.
2500-4000 CFS - High Water
Hopefully you are ready for a fast ride at these levels. Just remember
to paddle hard when your guide asks you to do so. We tend to see these
levels only when it is pouring rain on the river.
